30 Days of Biking, Day 27

Tornado watchExciting night tonight, although it started innocently enough when we rode to the local pizza place for dinner. We noticed storm warnings on the restaurant TV while waiting for our food, and decided to change the order from eat-in to carry-out. The sky looked a little scary as we tucked the pizza boxes under our arms and started rolling home. Even though we were cycling down hill we had to pedal hard because of a 25 mph headwind. It started to pour when we got about halfway home. The tornado sirens started blaring one block from home. Long story short, everything’s still standing. But it was a little exciting for a while.

Passionate about Bicycling

I don't bicycle for a living, but I do bicycle to live. It's that simple.
